On the Roads

As of 7:55 a.m., a crash is affecting the northbound I-495 Express Lanes south of Route 50 in Fairfax County. The northbound left shoulder is closed.

As of 7:50 a.m., a crash was reported on southbound I-95 about 0.1 miles north of Dumfries Road in Prince William County. No lanes are closed.

As of 7:40 a.m., a disabled vehicle is blocking the left side of the I-395/Southeast-Southwest Freeway before the 12th Street Expressway in Washington, DC.

As of 7:37 a.m., a crash has closed the eastbound right lane on I-66 near Route 29/Lee Highway in Centreville/Fairfax County.

As of 7:35 a.m., a multi-vehicle crash has closed the left lane and shoulder on northbound I-495 south of Little River Turnpike in Fairfax County.

As of 7:25 a.m., a disabled vehicle has closed the eastbound right shoulder on I-66 east of the Washington Boulevard exit in Arlington County.

As of 7:25 a.m., a tractor trailer crash on southbound I-495 near Arlington Boulevard/Route 50 has closed the southbound exit 50B ramp in Fairfax County.

As of 7:20 a.m., a tractor trailer crash on westbound Route 7 at Route 15 in Leesburg has closed entry and exit ramps from westbound Route 7.

A work zone continues on westbound Duke Street at I-395 in Alexandria. Both ramps are blocked along with all lanes.

On the Rails

On the Orange Line, the Minnesota Ave, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover and New Carrollton remain closed through Labor Day due to a summer platform improvement project. Local and express shuttles are available at Stadium-Armory.

Weather

Isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible after 2 p.m. The day will be mostly sunny with a high near 86. At night, mostly clear with a low around 67.
