Victim Robbed on Leesburg Pike After Asking for Directions
The suspect was described as a black male, about 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a red shirt, light pants, and a black beanie on his head.

A person who had just gotten off of a bus in the Falls Church area stopped to ask a man for directions when the man robbed the victim, according to police.
Fairfax County Police report that the robbery took place in the 7700 block of Leesburg Pike. There is a bus stop there in front of George C. Marshall High School.
The victim had just exited a bus, just after 9 p.m., and then approached a man to ask for directions. The man took the victim’s bag by force and fled. The victim did not require medical attention.

Officers responded to the area along with assistance from the police helicopter and K9 and checked the area with negative results. The suspect was described as a black male; about 6 feet tall, thin build, wearing a red shirt, light pants, and a black beanie on his head.
