Falls Church Spring Cleanup Welcomes Volunteers To Pick Up Trash

City staff will distribute trash pickers, trash bags, recycling bags, gloves and reflective vests to volunteers at Saturday's event.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — The City of Falls Church is holding its annual spring community cleanup on Saturday, April 2.

Volunteers should show up at the Community Center at 213 Little Falls St. at 10 a.m. Saturday, where they will be organized into teams and assigned to work areas throughout the city.

City staff will distribute trash pickers, trash bags, recycling bags, gloves and reflective vests to volunteers. The event is perfect for Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, church groups, families and other community groups.

Volunteers are encouraged to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty. The wearing of face masks and social distancing during cleanup are welcomed.
