City offices and services in Falls Church will operate on a modified schedule this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.

FALLS CHURCH, VA — City offices and services in Falls Church will operate on a modified schedule this week for the Thanksgiving holiday.
City offices
On Wednesday, Nov. 24, the Development Services Counter is closed. Other city government offices and services are open.
On Thursday, Nov. 25 and Friday, Nov. 26 all city government offices and services are closed. This includes City Hall, the community center, and the Mary Riley Styles Public Library, the city said.

Schools
Falls Church City Public Schools are closed from Nov. 24-26. All Fairfax County Public Schools are also closed Nov. 24 - 26.
Public transit
Metrorail and Metrobus will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 25 and offer weekday service on Friday, Nov. 26. Metro expects to have reduced service at least through the end of the year due to the continuing derailment investigation. For more information, visit www.wmata.com.
