Woman Hit by Car Suffers Life-Threatening Injuries, Police Say

She was crossing Wilson Boulevard Saturday morning in the Falls Church area of Fairfax County, according to police.

A woman was struck and seriously injured over the weekend on Wilson Boulevard, according to Fairfax County Police.

The crash took place in the 6700 block of Wilson Boulevard in the Seven Corners area Saturday at about 11:50 a.m.

Police responded for a struck pedestrian. An adult female was crossing Wilson Boulevard when she was struck by a 2007 Toyota RAV4.

The woman was transported to a local hospital with life-threatening injuries and the driver stayed on scene. Speed and alcohol are not considered factors in the crash and charges are not anticipated at this time. An investigation into the incident continues, according to police.

Police did not give any other information about the woman such as her age or where she is from.
