17 Health Code Violations Found At Fredericksburg Restaurant
Eight of the 24 Fredericksburg food establishments Rappahannock Area Health District inspectors visited recently had health code violations.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Rappahannock Area Health District inspectors reported finding violations at eight of the 24 food establishments they visited Jan. 13-30
During a Jan. 14 visit to the Bearded Monkey at 564 Warrenton Road, an inspector reported 17 violations, ranging from not having certified food protection manager in the kitchen to the men's and women's employee restrooms in need of cleaning.
In addition, the restaurant's chemical dish machine was not sanitizing dishes. The inspector instructed the staff to have the machine repaired. In the meantime, they needed to use the restaurant's three-compartment sink to wash and sanitize dishes.
