20-Year-Old Shooter Back In Jail After Threatening Victim: Police
After getting released from jail Tuesday, Letonto Fox returned to the Fredericksburg neighborhood where he allegedly shot at a man.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — After getting released from jail on bond Tuesday, Letonto Fox returned to the Fredericksburg neighborhood where he allegedly shot at a man Monday night and threatened the same man, according to the Fredericksburg Police Department. Fox, 20, of Bowling Green was re-arrested in Chesterfield County early Wednesday morning and is facing several new charges.
In the Monday night incident, a Fredericksburg resident called police after hearing gunshots fired in the 300 block of South Street. Fredericksburg police officers responded to the area and located a small group of people.
One of the men said a vehicle approached the group and the driver, later identified as Fox, began an argument with him. When the conversation escalated, Fox pulled out a gun and shot in the man's direction, according to police. Fox then drove off toward a 7-11 store on Tidewater Trail.

The next day, Fox was released from jail on bond. But later on Tuesday, the 911 communications center received a report around 2:30 p.m. that Fox was threatening the victim in Monday's incident. The new incident took place in front of a residence in the 300 block of Glover Street, about eight blocks from where the Monday shooting took place. After allegedly making threats to harm the man, Fox left the area.
