Woodbridge Man, Women From Stafford And Fredericksburg Die In Car Crash On Sunday: Police
On Tuesday morning, the Stafford County Sheriff's Office identified the three people who died in a crash on Austin Ridge Drive on Sunday.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A car crash in Stafford County killed three people on Sunday evening, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. On Tuesday morning, authorities identified the people involved in the crash.
The sheriff's office identified the drivers as Tamarr Williams, a 33-year-old man from Woodbridge, and Tamara Williams, a 27-year-old woman from Fredericksburg. Authorities confirmed that the drivers were not related. Andrea Forte, a 35-year-old woman from Stafford, was a passenger in Tamarr Williams's car. All three died at the scene of the crash, police said.
Investigators believe that Tamarr Williams was driving a 1995 Lexus SC300 southbound on Austin Ridge Drive at a "high rate of speed." He lost control of his car and went into the oncoming lane of traffic, police said.

The passenger side of the Lexus collided with the front of a 2019 Hyundai Elantra that Tamara Williams was driving northbound.
Authorities shut down Austin Ridge Drive near Shields Road for several hours on Sunday and Monday to allow for accident reconstruction.
