3 Shots Fired Incidents Within 24 Hours In Fredericksburg, 3 Men Charged: Police
Police in Fredericksburg arrested three men after a series of gunshots rang out on Thursday and Friday last week, authorities said.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Police arrested three men in Fredericksburg after they fired guns in the city last week, according to authorities. The three separate incidents occurred on Thursday and Friday, police said.
The first incident occurred around 5 a.m. on Thursday, March 10. A caller told police that she heard gunshots near her home in the 1600 block of Caroline Street.
When officers arrived on the scene, they found cartridge casings on the sidewalk. They also noticed a man sitting in a parked vehicle, according to the police department. Through their investigation, they identified the man in the vehicle as the suspect in the shooting.

Police arrested the man, Daquan Fraierson, and charged him with reckless handling of a firearm and discharging a firearm within city limits. He was held at the Rappahannock Regional Jail on a $1,500 bond.
The second shooting occurred around 2 a.m. on Friday, March 11 in the 800 block of Caroline Street. A caller told police that they saw a man fire several gunshots into the air.

Officers claimed they found a suspect near the intersection of George and Princess Anne Street. They also found a firearm and cartridge casings nearby, according to the police report.
Authorities identified the suspect as Victor Ramirez. Ramirez was arrested and faces seven counts of discharging a firearm within city limits, one count of reckless handling of a firearm, and one count of disorderly conduct.
A third shots fired incident happened at the same time, around 2 a.m. on Friday morning. Officers responded to an apartment on Kings Mill Court for a report of an armed robbery.
A victim told police that an acquaintance was hanging out at the apartment. The acquaintance then pulled out a gun and demanded cash from the victim, police said.
The suspect fired a single gunshot into the floor of the apartment before leaving with cash. Authorities identified the suspect as 18-year-old Archie Langham-Anderson. Police in Fredericksburg arrested Langham-Anderson on Monday.
Langham-Anderson faces several charges including discharging a firearm within city limits, brandishing of a firearm, reckless handling of a firearm, assault and battery, robbery, using a firearm in commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm in an occupied building. He was held without bond at the Rappahannock Regional Jail.
"Three shots-fired incidents in a 24-hour period, two of which occurred simultaneously, is unprecedented and exhausting," Fredericksburg Police Chief Brian Layton said in a news release. "I am impressed and beyond proud of my employees for making arrests in all three cases so quickly. Their efforts and successes bring justice to the victims and reassure witnesses as well as City residents that they can count on us to show up and deliver."
