After School Bells -- Music and After School Care in Harmony

The Stafford Handbell Society's After School Bells Program offers music and after school care for kids Monday - Friday

• The Stafford Regional Handbell Society -- the area’s only community handbell ensemble offers AFTER SCHOOL BELLS-- an after school music enrichment program for kids grade 2 - 8. Using English Handbells, After School Bell steaches kids more than just notes on a page. While kids learn the music, rhythm, and performance skills, they also learn discipline, focus and teamwork. Handbells are played as part of a group -- so ringers work together to make music. With no instrument required for home practice, handbells offer the most affordable instrumental music experience. The After School Bells program offers transportation from select area elementary schools, homework monitors, and uses a colored belt achievement system so each child advances at his or her own rate through individual and group instruction.
