Fredericksburg Man, Stafford Woman Charged In Teen's Shooting Death

MANASSAS, VA – Four more people, including a Fredericksburg man and a Stafford County woman, have been arrested in connection with the June shooting death of an 18-year-old Manassas man. So far, seven people have been taken into custody and charged.

According to Prince William County police, the following individuals have been arrested in connection with the case over the past few days:

• A 15-year-old boy from Manassas, was arrested on Friday and charged with felony murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and using a firearm in the commission of a felony.

• T’Kiyah Serenity French, 19, of Stafford, was arrested July 8 and charged with felony murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

• Ja Quad Dyzae Andrews Washington, 20, of Fredericksburg, was arrested July 7 and charged with felony murder, robbery resulting in death, second degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony and conspiracy to commit murder.

• Austin Wainaina Wyman, 19, of Woodbridge, was arrested July 7 and charged with felony murder, conspiracy to commit robbery and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.

All are being held without bond.

All have been charged in connection with the shooting death of Luis Angel Chavez on June 15. Chavez was found collapsed in a backyard on Parrish Lane on June 15. Police determined that the shooting had occurred in the Bull Run Mobile Home Community in the area of Peppertree Lane and Pebble Lane.

Markiss Alexander Medrano, 18, of Manassas, as well as a 16-year-old and a 17-year-old, have already been charged in the case. All are charged with murder and firearms offenses. Medrano has a preliminary hearing scheduled in August.
