Manassas Man Shot Dead In Bull Run Mobile Home Community
Prince William County police have not released a description of any suspects.
MANASSAS, VA – An 18-year-old Manassas man was shot and killed in the Bull Run Mobile Home Community on Monday night, according to Prince William County police.
Officers responding to reports of a shooting around 10 p.m. Monday found 18-year-old Luis Angel Chavez of Manassas collapsed in a backyard on Parrish Lane, police said in a news release.
Chavez had a gunshot wound to his upper body. Police attempted life-saving measures, they reported, but Chavez was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to Prince William County police, the shooting occurred in the Bull Run Mobile Home Community in the area of Peppertree Lane and Pebble Lane. Chavez had fled on foot as far as Parrish Lane.
Police say a residence on the 7400 block of Peppertree Lane was also struck by gunfire.

Preliminarily, police say the incident does not appear to be random. They have not yet publicly identified any suspects.
