Bonchon Opens Wednesday at Fredericksburg's Central Park

Bonchon, a franchise known for its Korean-style fried chicken and other Asian inspired dishes, will open its first Fredericksburg location with a limited “soft opening” beginning Wednesday.

The long wait is over for fans who have watched the slow progress for Bonchon Fredericksburg at the Central Park storefront near Buffalo Wild Wings and The Melting Pot.

Fans of the restaurant have had to go to Woodbridge or Richmond to get their fix.

In May, Bonchon Woodbridge’s general manager Mark Wang told Northern Virginia Magazine to expect some new menu items.

“Possibilities include popcorn chicken with kimchi mayonnaise and a salad with edamame and mandarin oranges in a sesame ginger dressing,” the magazine noted.
