Fashion Friday: Packing Tips Make the Chore More Manageable

Packing is a drag, but our favorite tips help make the chore more manageable, while ensuring the most fashionable you while away. Next stop, pool bar!

Does anyone actually enjoy packing?  Probably not, but check out some of our favorite packing tips to help you close the suitcase and hit the road!

  • Roll larger, non-wrinkle items.
  • Pick a neutral (black, brown or navy) and build outfits around it.
  • Create mix & match outfits for each day's events.
  • Lay everything out, try everything on, accessorize before you go!
  • As a rule, don't pack things that you don't like to wear at home. We are creatures of habit.
  • Shoes take up the most room!  Be selective.  Pack a flat (or two), a strappy sandal (if appropriate), a pump, flip-flops, and sneakers.
  • Carry your classic leather handbag and pack one flat clutch for dressier events.
  • Pack accessories for each outfit in zip-lock bags.
  • Don't under-estimate the importance and wear-ability of a cardigan and/or pashmina.
