Fredericksburg Weather Blog: Sunny Skies and Tree Pollen

Sunny skies through the weekend but no relief from the pollen.

A stubborn cold front brought us a mostly cloudy day Thursday and noticeably cooler temps. Behind the front though, we are settling in with high pressure. Clear skies and steady temperatures for Friday and Saturday. Clear skies overnight mean colder low temperatures on the way with freeze advisories being issued west of our region. Although we will see the upper 30's overnight, we should stay well above freezing here in Fredericksburg. A gradual warm up will come our way Sunday with daytime highs back near 70.

If you are anything like me, you spent most of the past 24 hours with a box of tissues following you around. Thanks to our friend tree pollen, you may need those tissues for the next few days. Friday's allergen forecast is listed as high and Saturday has been classified as very high. Until we see some rain showers, expect your allergies to be an unwelcome house guest. Ahh-choo! Sorry.
