Spring Has Sprung!
The R-Board is happy to be a part of several eco-friendly, family-focused activities over the next several weeks. We hope to see you at some of them!
Spring has sprung! My eyes are itchy, the grass is begging to be cut, and I have stocked up on Cadbury Eggs! Spring is typically a busy time for those of us employed in the conservation field with Earth Day just around the corner and the warm weather bringing folks outside.
Keep Virginia Beautiful is offering $500-$1000 grants to organizations that are working to improve our environment through recycling programs, cigarette litter cleanup, or planting projects. They will be giving away 30 grants each day in April. Visit www.keepvirginiabeautiful.org for more information.
