Tips to Make Your Holiday Look Last
Beauty advice from Fredericksburg area make-up artist Jumana.
As a make-up artist, I am often asked how I can keep my clients make-up looking fresh for a long photo shoot or event. I have a few tricks up my sleeve.
When applying make-up with longevity in mind, I always prime. I love all of the foundation primers on the market that are specific to certain skin types. A good primer will smooth the skin and fill in pores and fine lines. It will also aid in making make-up last.
Another type of primer that is a must is a good eye shadow primer. Bold color and sparkle need a good base to really stick and stay put. These two products -- foundation primer and eye shadow primer -- will have you off to a good start.

Once you have primed and applied your color products, there is one more step to take. A good setting spray is a must! This acts in a similar way to hairspray in that it will hold your style.
If all this has your holiday head spinning, when all else fails, a make-up artist would love to help you for your big event!
