Friday, Feb. 24th, 7-8pm
Meet ORION and friends at Motts Run Reservoir! We’ll start with a night sky intro in the nature center (along with hot chocolate) then venture to the lakeshore for a view of the heavens. We’ll check on Orion the Hunter, the Plaides, Juipiter, Venus, and much more. Great for anyone wanting to get oriented to the wonders of the winter night sky! Bring BINOCULARS if you have them. (Kids 8 and older must attend with paying adult).

Winter Tree Trek
Sunday, Feb. 26th, 3-4pm
Ever wonder how to tell trees apart in the dead of winter? Take a hike and learn tips to telling a hickory from an oak, a tulip poplar from a sweetgum, a beech from a maple…and more! We'll look at buds, bark and discover each tree's record of last year's growth! Great fun for all ages. (Kids 6 and older must attend with paying adult).
