What's This Blogging Hype????

As if I don't have enough on my plate, I saw a posting asking for bloggers.....In a split second I thought "dang, I have so much to say and no one in my house REALLY listens to me so why not!!!"  So here I am....amongst the chatter of the twins playing "sisters" (they are sisters anyway so why the make believe?) and the clatter of my oldest making herself some home-made remedy for a rough day in third grade, I sit here. 

Sure I have a million and one "domestic" duties to look after before the mister gets home but I once heard that a house that is a bit untidy means great memories are made there so I am only hoping that my girls have LOTS of great memories.  I am really not sure what the inter-web world wants to read from a small-town married mother who works full time but if you want a funny read and to know you aren't the only one who hears or feels like I do at times, well you found it!!! 

Today while at my accountant's office, the twins decided they wanted to stay. They had two baskets of Happy Meal toys that have more than likely been left by many local kids over the years and the twins thought those toys were GREAT.  After much threatening and such, we were able to leave and when we got home, I took the six bins of Happy Meal toys we had at home and divided them into two big baskets. The toys have remained untouched since 1 p.m. Maybe a better deal would have been to leave the twins at the accountant's office since what we owe Uncle Sam this year could have been made from their unbelievable cuteness. Nonetheless, they are home with me and I have a nice check waiting to be stamped to send Uncle Sam.
