Checks Stolen From Church in Fredericksburg: Police
Fredericksburg Police say the theft occurred at Saint George's Episcopal Church sometime during the wee hours of Friday morning.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — In a week when Mother Teresa, the famed Catholic nun who devoted her life to helping the poor was declared a saint by Pope Francis, who would steal money from a church?
Such a holy theft surely would be amplified if applied to the biblical admonition of "Thou Shall Not Steal."
But someone did just that between midnight and 6 a.m. Friday at Saint George's Episcopal Church in the 900 block of Princess Anne Street, according to Fredericksburg Police.

Then again, here's a quote from the aforementioned Mother Teresa: "If you judge people, you have no time to love them."
OK, OK. But still. . .
