Children's Tree Lighting: Schedule, Date, Location
The most wonderful time of the year is almost here. We've got the details for this fun FREE Fredericksburg family event.
The start of the holiday season may feel like it arrives earlier each year, but the real start comes with Fredericksburg’s annual Children’s Christmas Tree Lighting.
The event returns from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 28 at Hurkamp Park.
Get there early, because Santa will arrive at 4:45 p.m. for the official tree lighting.

Afterward, kids can get pictures with Santa and other holiday characters, along with enjoying free crafts, music and story time.

The event is hosted by Fredericksburg Economic Development and Tourism, Fredericksburg Parks, Recreation and Public Facilities, Maranatha Music Ministries , the Children’s Museum of Richmond, and Fredericksburg Parent and Family Magazine!
