Ciccone Murder: Reward Increased to $2.5K

The Spotsylvania Sheriff's Office has followed up on numerous leads in December murder, but no arrests have been made.

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA — Nearly five months after Heather Ciccone's body was found in a driveway on Piney Branch Road, the reward for information in the case has increased to $2,500.

The Spotsylvania County Sheriff’s Office has followed up on numerous leads since her murder, but no arrests have been made.

A resident found Ciccone's car, a 2010 KIA, in their driveway in early December. The 21-year-old's body was slumped over the steering wheel. She'd been shot in the back of the head.

A recent fundraiser was held at Hard Times in Spotsylvania to raise money for a reward fund for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Heather’s killer or killers.

In addition to an award offered by Spotsylvania Crime Solvers, there is $2,500 available for information in the case. Call the Spotsylvania Sheriff’s Office at 540-507-7103.

In a statement, the Ciccone family said, “We urge anyone that has information about her murder to please contact a detective so we can have justice for Heather."
