CRRL Launches Library Express, Reopens Meeting, Study Rooms

Central Rappahannock Regional Library is now allowing residents to reserve meeting and study rooms at most branches in the system.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Central Rappahannock Regional Library is now allowing residents to reserve meeting and study rooms at most branches as the library system seeks to resume services that were suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Starting Friday, residents can reserve a meeting room up to 30 days in advance and a study room one day in advance. The rooms will be subject to reduced capacity to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

Last Monday, CRRL began allowing one-hour visits to its branches without appointments. Patrons can browse the collection, check out materials, use computers, and print, copy, scan, and fax. The visits, called Library Express, ensure safe customer access to the branches. Masks covering face and nose and temperature checks are required, and staff will be wearing gloves when handling materials.
