Dave’s Hot Chicken To Open Fredericksburg Location In 2025: Reports
Dave's Hot Chicken, a national spicy chicken restaurant chain, plans to open its first location in the Central Park Marketplace.
FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Fredericksburg foodies will have a new place to enjoy spicy chicken next year, as Dave’s Hot Chicken has leased space in the Central Park Marketplace, according to reports.
The new Dave’s Hot Chicken will be coming sometime in 2025 to the vacant space at 1999 Carl D. Silver Parkway, according to the Fredericksburg Free Press. It will occupy the former home of Premium Spas & Billiards, which moved to 4264 Plank Road in Spotsylvania County.
Dave’s Hot Chicken started in 2017, when four childhood friends pooled $900 to open their first location in a parking lot in East Hollywood, California, according to the company’s website.

In 2023, Tecnomic, an industry research company, recognized Dave’s as the “Fastest Growing Restaurant Chain,” based on the hot chicken restaurant’s 156 percent increase in system-wide sales over the previous year.
“Dave’s Hot Chicken has one of the greatest origin stories in the restaurant business, with the founders starting Dave’s as a parking lot pop-up restaurant in Hollywood with a portable fryer, and picnic tables from their backyards,” said CEO Bill Phelps. “The company’s nearly unheard-of growth rate is a result of the founders’ vision for this brand, the tremendous leadership team we’ve assembled, and the incredible commitment of some of the most experienced franchisees in the restaurant industry.”
