More Snow Expected Through Morning Commute

The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory for snow from 10 p.m. this evening to noon Thursday.

The weather service is forecasting 3 to 5 inches of snow will fall in the Fredericksburg area and other portions of Virginia’s region. The snow is expected to begin falling around midnight and continue through the Thursday morning commute.

Temperatures are expected to be in the mid-20s, and motorists should prepare for snow-covered, slippery roads and low visibility. Use caution while driving.
