Flash Mob Dances at Spotsylvania Towne Centre

Watch the video of a group of Mormon youth that surprised mall visitors Saturday night at center court.

Youth members of the Fredericksburg Virginia Stake with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints danced at center court in the Spotsylvania Towne Centre Saturday night in a flash-mob spectacular.

Jacalyn Stanley, who helped organize the flash mob, said about 250 Fredericksburg area youth members will be performing with about 1,300 members at 8 p.m. July 20 and at 5 p.m. and 8 p.m. July 21 at Patriot High School in Nokesville for a youth celebration. The group started dancing at about 7:30 p.m. when a teenager in a yellow shirt jumped onto the dance floor, with a flood of kids following him.

"This was a flash-mob practice," she said. "Most of these kids are completely untrained. This whole thing has been in the works for a year and they have been practicing since January."
