Fredericksburg 'Ghost Kitchen' Offers Signature Chicken Dishes

Housed at the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg's first "ghost kitchen" is providing meals, including vegan and gluten-free.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Housed at the University of Mary Washington, Fredericksburg’s first “ghost kitchen” is providing meals, including vegan and gluten-free options, to residents across the city.

The ghost kitchen, 1301 Hen House, offers delivery of items through Grubhub. A ghost kitchen, also known as a cloud kitchen, is a restaurant with no dine-in options.

1301 Hen House, operated by University Dining at the University of Mary Washington, was created during the COVID-19 pandemic. Inspired by the current popularity of chicken and chicken sandwiches in the delivery market, the team created unique chicken dishes.
