Grand Jury Indicts Woman for Involuntary Manslaughter in Death of Step-Grandmother
Patricia Ogle, 36, who is currently incarcerated at the Rappahannock Regional Jail, was handed down six indictments Monday.

A Fredericksburg Grand Jury has indicted Patricia Ogle, 36, on a charge of involuntary manslaughter for the April death of 84-year-old Betty Catlett, according to a report from the Fredericksburg Police Department.
On April 15, authorities were called to the 100 block of Ashby Street following a report of an elderly woman (Catlett) who had died inside the home. Catlett had been residing in the home under the care of her step-granddaughter, Ogle.
Bruises covering Catlett’s body warranted Fredericksburg detectives to send her remains to the state Medical Examiner’s office for further investigation. Less than two weeks later, on April 27, Ogle was arrested on charges including felony abuse and neglect of an incapacitated adult.
