Gun Drawn in Road Rage Incident at Taco Bell

Drivers exchange words, one pulls out a weapon in latest armed motorist dispute.

The Taco Bell on Jefferson Davis Highway is the latest site of a Fredericksburg trend: pulling out a gun during a dispute between motorists.

This time, a 31-year-old resident contacted police just after noon on Monday. He told police that he had exchanged words with a another driver in the parking lot after allegedly observing the other man driving recklessly.

As the victim was pulling away from the other driver, he claimed the man pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim.

Both men were still on the scene when police arrived.

The other driver, 29, of Stafford was arrested for the charge of brandishing a firearm and the gun was seized as evidence. He was released on a $1500 unsecured bond.
