Hirschler Fleischer Opens Third Office, Expanding Footprint Into Northern Virginia

Hirschler Fleischer announces that it will combine with the Tysons, Va. law firm of Leach Travell PC.

Richmond, Va., Dec. 18, 2015 – Hirschler Fleischer announces that it will combine with the Tysons, Va. law firm of Leach Travell PC, adding seven partners in four practice areas: business, litigation, bankruptcy /creditors’ rights and real estate. The combination, which will be effective Jan. 1, 2016, is consistent with Hirschler Fleischer’s strategic vision to expand its footprint into the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area to better serve a sophisticated, growing client base. With these new attorneys, Hirschler Fleischer will have a total of 80 attorneys across three offices in Virginia: Richmond, Fredericksburg and Tysons.

  • Wayne G. Travell and Robert R. Vieth will lead Hirschler Fleischer’s Tysons complex business litigation and alternative dispute resolution practices. Roxanne F. Rosado is also a member of the Tysons complex business litigation group. In addition to her role as a client counselor and advocate, Rosado will continue to lead the group’s efforts with regard to the collection, analysis and production of electronically stored information, including the admissibility of social media evidence, an increasingly critical element of discovery and trial practice in today’s complex litigation matters.
  • Stephen E. Leach and Lawrence A. Katz will lead Hirschler Fleischer’s Tysons bankruptcy and creditor rights’ practice. Kristen E. Burgers, a former law clerk for the Honorable Robert G. Mayer, is also a member of the Tysons’ bankruptcy practice.
  • M. Jay Yurow will lead Hirschler Fleischer’s Tysons real estate finance and transactional practices. He is assisted in that effort by Burgers.
