Jimmy John's $1 Sandwich Day on April 21

Freaky, fast and only a buck.

Fans of Jimmy John’s can chow down on a sub for only $1 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Thursday, April 21.

The company says the discounted price is a way of saying thanks to customers.

The promotion is limited to the restaurant's No. 1-6 sandwiches, BLT and slims. All subs will come on the store’s usual french bread, but lettuce wraps will be available at no additional charge, according to Jimmy John’s.

A list of participating stores is available online, but here are some Northern Virginia locations that are participating.

• 454 Elden St., Herndon
• 11 Catoctin Circle NE, Leesburg

While you can only order one sub at a time, you are free to go through the line as many times as you want.

The deal is only valid to those who place their order in the store. Those who call ahead or use a drive-thru will be charged regular price.

“The promotion is for in shop only. We want to see your smiling faces. Come see our speed for yourself and stop by for the fun,” Jimmy John’s said on its website.
