Labor Day 2017: What's Open, What's Closed In Fredericksburg
Labor Day 2017: Bus routes and government offices will be impacted by the holiday weekend in Fredericksburg.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — If you happen to work at, say, the beach, Labor Day represents one of the busier weekends of the summer, if not the entire year. It's one final chance for tourists to fill up the coffers, from the Outer Banks in North Carolina to Ocean City in Maryland. But for city and county governments, Labor Day is a chance to hit the pause button.
As such, here's the schedule for Fredericksburg on Sept. 4, which, alas, marks the unofficial end of summer. (For more local news, click here to sign up for real-time news alerts. Also, like us on Facebook, and if you have an iPhone, click here to get the free Patch iPhone app.)
