Man Attempts to Rob Fredericksburg Business, Runs at First Mention of Police
The store's manager refused to give the suspect the money he demanded. When she threatened to call police, he ran.

Officers are looking for a suspect in an attempted robbery at Panaderia-Aury, 3343 Fall Hill Avenue in Fredericksburg, according to Fredericksburg City Police.
The suspect is described as a hispanic man around 25 years old with a thin build. He was last seen wearing a gray baseball hat, beige shirt and light colored jacket.
Around 1:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 a man entered Panaderia-Aury and demanded money from the store’s manager. The manager refused to give the suspect money, prompting the suspect to threaten to take it by force and implying he had a weapon.

When the manager still refused and told the man she was calling police, he fled from the store.
This is not Panaderia-Aury’s first encounter with thieves; the business was robbed in 2011 when suspects broke into the store and stole the cash register.
