Man Overdoses On Heroin In Taco Bell Drive-Thru: Police

STAFFORD, VA—A man overdosed on heroin Friday while in the drive-thru lane of a Taco Bell on Garrisonville Road, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Brian Tyler Edwards, 26, of Stafford, was revived when police gave him Narcan. He was charged with driving under the influence, possession of a controlled substance and possession of controlled paraphernalia.

After getting a report of an unresponsive man in a vehicle, police arrived at the scene and found Edwards in the driver's seat of a vehicle that was still in drive. He had a needle in his right hand. After putting the vehicle in park, police gave him Narcan. Once conscious, he told police there was heroin in the vehicle and that he had used it in the past 30 minutes.
