FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Now this, what with the sub-freezing temperatures, truly will be a test of whether you genuinely have the holiday spirit.
It's Merry Carols, the annual holiday concert and community sing-a-long in Market Square, 7-8 p.m. tonight, off Princess Anne Street.
Performing will be The Spotsylvanians chorus.

Leading up to the free event, the co-located Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center will be serving refreshments and holding ornament decorating.
The evening's festivities will conclude with the arrival of Santa and Mrs. Claus.
