Merry Market Boutique Gathering Saturday in Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Looking to get some holiday shopping out of the way without crowded malls or perfunctory on-line purchases?

Here's an idea: Head out to the golf course Saturday — but leave the clubs at home.

It's 10th annual "Merry Market: A Boutique Shopping Experience" from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. at the Fredericksburg Country Club, 11031 Tidewater Trail.

It'll be showcased with various vendors and artisans offering unique gift ideas amid a festive-but-stately atmosphere, and is put on by the Fredericksburg Area Service League.

Admission is $5, and childcare will be available at the site.
