Missing Man Sought By Police In Spotsylvania County
The Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding a man who has been missing since the end of June.
SPOTSYLVANIA COUNTY, VA — A man is missing, and the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in locating him. Authorities identified the man as William Aaron Pilkington, a 50-year-old Spotsylvania resident.
The sheriff's office said that Pilkington was last seen at his former place of employment near Mine Road on Tuesday, June 29. Pilkington's family reported that he was missing two weeks later on Tuesday, July 13, authorities said.
Authorities believe that Pilkington may be driving his gold and burgundy 1993 GMC truck. The truck's license plate number is 6289XF.

Last month, Pilkington was charged with multiple crimes in Fredericksburg General District Court related to a car accident on Tuesday, June 22. Pilkington was charged with failing to stop after an accident and driving while intoxicated.
Pilkington was scheduled to be arraigned in court on Tuesday, July 6, but he did not appear.

Pilkington is described as a white man who is about five feet, 11 inches tall. He weighs approximately 160 pounds, the Spotsylvania County Sheriff's Office said.

He has blonde hair and blue eyes, police said. Authorities did not provide any other identifying features, or a clothing description.
