Model Train Christmas Show This Weekend in Fredericksburg

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — There's just something about model trains during the holiday season that makes them all the more appealing, and such appeal will be amplified this weekend.

That's because the Rappahannock Model Railroaders 19th Annual Christmas Train Show will be held Saturday and Sunday at the Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodge #4123 at 20 Cool Spring Road.

Hours: Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $1 for kids 6-12.

There will be drawings for prizes, with the Grand Prize a Lionel Lion Chief 10th edition Polar Express set.

Model train vendors also will be on hand.
