Motorcyclist Dies After Crash In Stafford On Thursday: Police
A 27-year-old man died on Thursday after his motorcycle crashed into an SUV at a Garrisonville Road intersection in Stafford.
STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A motorcyclist died after a crash at the intersection of Garrisonville Road and Patton Drive on Thursday evening, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office.
Police identified the deceased motorcycle rider as 27-year-old Darius Whited of Stafford.
The sheriff's office did not report any other injuries in the crash, and authorities have not announced any charges.

The crash occurred around 7:40 p.m. on Thursday. Authorities said Whited's BMW S1000RR motorcycle was travelling eastbound on Garrisonville Road. At the intersection with Patton Drive, the motorcycle ran into the passenger side of a Toyota RAV4 that was turning left onto Patton Drive from westbound Garrisonville Road.
Police said Whited suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. He died at the hospital later in the evening, according to the sheriff's office.
