Neighborhood Tours - History of Our Homes

The Fredericksburg Area Museum and Cultural Center, along with Hallowed Ground Tours, presents a special walking tour on September 7, 2015. Participants on this walking tour, titled Neighborhood Tours - the History of Our Homes, will explore the homes and history of one of the City’s oldest neighborhoods, Lower Caroline Street. Tour guides will discuss centuries of architecture and will unravel the histories of people who helped shape the Fredericksburg community. The tour departs at 11:30 am from the commuter parking lot on the corner of Caroline and Frederick Streets and lasts approximately 75 minutes. The cost is $5/adults $2/child and $2/student. Participants will receive a discounted entry fee into the Museum. The tour is FREE for Museum members.
