STAFFORD COUNTY, VA — A crash shut down all lanes of northbound Route 1 in Stafford County on Monday morning, according to the Stafford County Sheriff's Office. Police said the crash occurred near M&M Auto Parts around 11 a.m.

Officials said traffic was being diverted onto State Shop Road and Eskimo Hill Road to continue northbound. Fire and rescue personnel asked residents to avoid the area if possible.

Authorities have not released any further information about the crash, including details on possible injuries.
