Opening reception for Under the Sea by Bonnie Halford at Brush Strokes Gallery

Brush Strokes Gallery features Bonnie Halford’s fluid watercolor creations on Yupo paper throughout October. Noted for founding the gallery in 2004, Bonnie credits her art development to local artist and teacher, Johnny Johnson, who inspired her to take her painting beyond traditional boundaries. Her work is whimsical, free-form, and expressive. Halford explains that she likes the way the paint reveals a subject to her.
