Rappahannock River Fest Saturday

Celebrate a favorite Fredericksburg asset this weekend with the annual Rappahannock River Fest on Saturday.

The event will be from 3-8 p.m. at Farley Vale Farm, 12475 Farley Vale Drive, in King George.

Individual tickets are $90 and can be purchased online until noon Saturday. Tickets are not sold at the door.

The annual fundraiser supports the Friends of the Rappahannock’s advocacy, restoration and education programs.

There’s a crab feast and buffet from Shane’s Rib Shack, as well as an open bar, live and silent auctions, live music and boat rides.

Live performers include Laurie Rose Griffith & Peter Mealy; The Dixie Power Trio; Bob, Paul & Amy; and The Acoustic Onion.
