Rescue Me: Cora The Cat Is a 'Sweet, Petite Beauty Queen'
Cora is a 3-year-old cat who is up for adoption now at the Fredericksburg SPCA. This "overly friendly" kitty needs a home of her own.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Cora, a 3-year-old cat at the Fredericksburg SPCA, is looking for a family to join in a home of her own. This big-eyed cat is as friendly as they come and would be a great fit in a home without other animals.
The Fredericksburg SPCA used some unique verbiage in their description of Cora. They said she is "talkative, overly friendly, and meticulously groomed."
"Cora is a sweet petite who is looking to become Instafamous with her looks," the SPCA said. "Her meticulously groomed self is always ready to strut her stuff."

One of Cora's most notable features are her eyes. Even in photographs, it feels like she's making pretty direct eye contact.

"Don't be surprised if one day Pixar/Disney comes knocking on your door looking for her," the SPCA said. "She just has those princess's eyes!"
Among her many other talents, Cora is world-class at snuggling. Although, she does prefer to be the center of attention, and would be best as an only pet.
"If you're looking for an overly friendly kitty cat who loves to be the center of attention, especially around kids, look no further," the SPCA said. "Cora thinks she's people and would love to join your family."

Being a good cat owner requires love, attention, and care. A good cat owner with Cora would also be a conversationalist who loves to gossip, the SPCA noted.
"She chirps up a storm as soon as you walk in the room to tell you all the latest gossip," the SPCA said. "She won't leave your side until she's sure she's made your day better."
