FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Eggo is an 18-month-old dog now available for adoption at the Fredericksburg SPCA. He is treat-motivated, smart, and ready to join a family.

"Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, especially for this pup! Eggo is a delightfully golden brown boy, perfectly toasted," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "Stock up on your favorite waffles, because you'll need the energy to spend the day playing with this excitable and sociable boy."

During his time at the Fredericksburg SOCA, Eggo has worked with the behavior department. He's treat-motivated and a quick study.

"Eggo has been described as intelligent and eager to learn! This smart cookie already knows 'sit,' and is working on other basic commands," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "He has been learning to play and develop his social skills with other pups at the shelter, so he's learning to use his syrupy charm to make new friends."

"Grab your granola and take this guy on your favorite hiking trail or go for a long drive in the country," the SPCA said. "Eggo loves to be with his people, and wants nothing more than for you to smother him with buttery love!"
