FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Harp is a dog available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA. This people-pleaser has become a favorite among the shelter staff, but she's ready to find a forever home.

"Harp is a sweet, gentle girl that just wants to cuddle," the Fredericksburg SPCA. "She loves making friends with everyone she meets as long as they are willing to give her lots of love and attention."

Within the Fredericksburg SPCA, Harp has become known as a great office companion. As long as she's within petting range, she'll relax as the nearest person works.

"She is a stage 5 clinger and wants to be as close to you as physically possible, so make sure you have a spot on the couch for snuggles," the SPCA said. "She is a big goof who makes the staff at the SPCA laugh when she rolls on her back so you scratch her chest and she kicks her back feet in delight. She will fall down and roll over upside down to ask for belly rubs!"

Harp is three years old, according to the SPCA. She already knows commands like "sit," "down," and "shake." The SPCA believes she could easily learn more tricks.
