Rescue Me: A Pair Of Bonded Kitties Need A Forever Home

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — What could be better than one kitten? Well, two kittens are available for adoption now at the Fredericksburg SPCA. Sally, a 1-year-old cat, is bonded with Lackawanna, a 5-month-old cat, so they should be adopted together.

If two sweet kittens isn't enough, Lackawanna's younger sister Gasport is also available for adoption, though Gasport could also be adopted separately.

" When Lackawanna met Sally, it was love at first sniff! Sally with her sleek, black fur and Lackawanna with his major mane, both managing to find comfort in one another," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "these two took no time at all to let their timid walls come down and begin to let their personalities shine through!"

Lackawanna's easy-going nature has brought Sally out of her shell. The feline support from Lackawanna would greatly help Sally when she adapts to a new home.

"Lackawanna chatters up a storm on his way to breakfast, lunch, and dinner and Sally makes sure she is by his side every time," the SPCA said. "If Sally lets out so much as a mew, which she loves to go about the house chirping, Lackawanna runs to check on her."

Those two cats are all about spending time together. They eat together, nap together, and play together.

When Sally is napping, Lackawanna wrestles some energy away with his little sister, Gasport. "While Gasport would love to be considered in this trio, we know Sally benefits greatly from the feline support that she has found with Lackawanna by her side," the SPCA said. "Gasport is a barrel of laughs with her loud motor purrs and ability to make everything into a toy, so she would make a great home for someone looking to get their kitten fix!"
