Rescue Me: Wigglesworth Is A Pup Who Earned His Name

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Wigglesworth, a 3-year-old dog available for adoption through the Fredericksburg SPCA, earned his name. This excitable lad won't hesitate to wiggle.

"You don't get a name like Mr. Wigglesworth for no reason," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "He's so wiggly when happy that we were only able to get one photo of him so far! Staff describes him as a happy, playful pup who is just searching for his person."

Wigglesworth's excitement is contagious. Even though he can't keep still, he is a well-behaved dog who's easy to please.

"Wigglesworth loves a good rope toy and playing with his dog pals, but he can be choosey about his circle of canine friends. We always suggest bringing dogs for a meet and greet with staff to make sure all dog pals get along," the Fredericksburg SPCA said. "He doesn't need much to be won over - his love is easily bought with a good chest scratch!"

Wigglesworth is one of the SPCA pets of the month, so his adoption fee is waived through the end of November.
