Rita’s In Fredericksburg Adds Mermaid Italian Ice For A Limited Time
Rita's in Fredericksburg is serving Mermaid Italian Ice through July 19 at its Leavells Road shop.

FREDERICKSBURG, VA — Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard in Fredericksburg is adding a new flavor to its summer lineup.
Mermaid Italian Ice, a bright pink flavor combining berry and marshmallow, is available at Rita’s locations nationwide from Monday, June 15, through Sunday, July 19. The flavor is topped with Unicorn Glitter.
Fredericksburg customers can find the limited-time flavor at Rita’s, 11105 Leavells Road, Leavells Square Unit No. 6.

Rita’s is also serving the flavor in two featured frozen treats. The Mermaid Gelati layers Mermaid Italian Ice with Rita’s Vanilla Frozen Custard and adds Unicorn Glitter on top. The Mermaid Ice Blender blends the berry-marshmallow Italian ice into a smooth frozen drink, also topped with Unicorn Glitter.

Rita’s Italian Ice is made fresh daily on-site and available in a rotating selection from more than 80 flavors, according to the company. The menu also includes Frozen Custard, Gelati, Concretes, Frozen Coffee, Blendinis, milkshakes and other treats.
Customers can download the Rita’s Ice app to earn rewards. New members can receive one free small Ice, Custard or Gelati for signing up, according to Rita’s.
