Road Pavement to Cause Traffic Delays in Spotsylvania County

Grand Brooks Road (Route 721) in Lake Anna area will be reduced to one lane beginning Thursday and lasting through the month on weekdays.

SPOTSYLVANIA, VA — Motorists, however few they may be, who regularly use Grand Brooks Road (Route 721) in Spotsylvania County's Lake Anna area should prepare for considerable delays beginning Thursday and lasting through the month, according to Virginia Department of Transportation.

The unpaved road is being reconstructed as part of the Rural Rustic Road program, which paves low-volume roads.

From 8 a.m.-7 p.m., the road will be reduced to one lane during weekdays through the expected completion Oct. 31.
